Q & A
What is Airbrush Tanning/Spray Tanning?
It is a form of self tanning (or sunless tanning) where a fine mist is sprayed onto your body by a trained technician. This mist has an ingredient in it called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) that interacts with your own skin's chemistry to turn it tan, or bronze. The spray reacts to the top layer of skin only and fades as your body naturally sheds skin cells.

Why should I choose your studio over any other? What makes you different?
Spray tanning is a very involved process. The goal is not just to ensure our clients receive a tan but to ensure the tan looks as natural as possible.  This includes matching your skin tone with the appropriate solution.  One solution does not fit ALL.  We currently carry 10 different solutions.  When choosing a solution we consider the following: Skin hydration (dry or moisturized), Skin tone (base of green, brown or violet), desired darkness of tan (light, medium, dark and competition) and the speed at which you need the tan to develop.

We have searched the GLOBE for the finest products, ingredients and results!

What do I wear?
During your tanning session you may dress to your desired comfort level.  Men must wear underwear. We recommend dark bikini's or undergarments.  Disposables are available for your convenience.

What should I bring to the tanning appointment?
Black Bathing suits or undergarments (cotton), Loose fitting dark clothing, flip flops, and a large dark towel (to protect your car seats)

How long will the tan last?
This depends largely on the pre and post tanning care.  Exfoliate prior and moisturize after!  These are the 2 keys to keeping that Golden Tan for up to 7-10 days.  We also offer Tan Extender to provide an additional 2 days

How does spray tanning effect tattoo's?
Spray tanning only interacts with the top layer of skin.  It will temporarily effect the color by potentially darkening the colors but will return to ist normal color as the tan fades naturally. Barrier cream is available to place over the tattoo if you would like for the color to remain as normal.

Does spray tanning act as a sunscreen?
No.  Your skin will react to sun the same way.  The tanning solution will in no way act as a protectant for your skin against the effects of natural sunrays. Sunscreen should be applied as normal.
